Main tasks in the project
Device fabrication as well as quantum transport measurements at low temperatures will be carried out at Basel. The partner will characterise the Andreev level qubit (ALQ) in semiconducting nanowires with different superconductors with the aim to better understand the source of parity switching. The Basel node will then concentrate on coupling to ALQs together through a transmission line resonator and study the coupling both for even and odd states.
